Memorial service will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Southeast Louisiana Veteran Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, LA 70460 with Military Honors.

Jimmie Hair was born to Jake and Annie Mae Whitehead Hair on November 29, 1953 in Shubuta, MS.

He was graduate of Picayune Memorial Hight School before joining the United States Coast Guard and was released with an Honorable discharge. After his duties in the United States Coast Guard, he traveled around to different locations in the United States with his wife, Marilyn.

On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Jimmie received his wings at his resident in Lowell, Massachusetts. 

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Don Rene Hair, and sister-in-law, Emma Hair.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marillyn Faye Brown-Hair; his brother, Robert Hair; his sister, Cassandra Washington; his nephews, Greg (Sabrina) Hair, Garret Hair, AJ Washington, Bryant Derbigny and Donaris Hair; his niece, Kim Gordon; a host of other relatives and friends.
