Lloyd Johnson, Jr.

Lloyd Johnson, Jr., 88, was born April 23, 1935 in Poplarville, MS to the late Lloyd Johnson Sr and Edna Johnson.  He was united in holy matrimony to Mary Nell Johnson, and they had 4 children, Carmen Loretta Fletcher of Virginia Beach, VA, Linda Bradley of Pass Christian, MS, Brunetta Travis of Gulfport, MS and Stanley Johnson of Gary, Indiana.

God saw that Lloyd Johnson, Jr was getting tired, so on March 30, 2024, he called his name and he peacefully answered and accepted his eternal resting place in the arms of the Lord.

Lloyd was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church where he was a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Joey Mark.  

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Johnson, his parents: Lloyd Johnson, Sr. and Edna Johnson; two sisters, Almeta Hart and Cora Travis, 1 son-in-law, Dillard Fletcher.

Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories: 3 daughters: Linda (Karon) Bradley, Carmen Loretta Fletcher and Brunetta (Gordon) Travis, one son Stanley (Rhonda)Johnson. Two brothers; Frederick (Carolyn) Johnson of Fort Walton Beach, FL and George Jefferson of Battle Creek, MI.  7 grandchildren:  Latasha, Kasondra, Tiffany, Syrenthia, Stanley, Jasmine and Elijah.  5 great grandchildren, Alisa, Mitchell, Taylor, Gianni and Ralonda; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
