Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Noon at First Cornerstone Baptist Church with Visitation one hour prior to service time. Bishop Vernon Robinson is Pastor. Rev. Robert Landor will be the officiant. Interment will be in the New Palestine Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home. 

Oliver Paul Polk was born August 16, 1936 to the late Willie Polk and Loyce Twille Polk.

Ollie Paul was called home on July 15, 2024 at 3:17 AM.

He became a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Shubuta, MS at an early age. When he moved to Picayune he attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where he remained until his health begin to fail.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Willie and Loyce Polk.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 27 years; Linda Polk of Picayune, MS, three sons; Freddie Charles Craft of Waynesboro, MS, Dewayne Arrington (Wendy) of McDonough, GA, and Charles Polk of Federal Way, WA, five daughters; Kathy Sims (Kenneth) of Meridian, MS, Dorothy Louise Arrington Of Waynesboro, MS, Linda Grim of Chicago, IL, Lashundra Polk and Elisha Polk both of Picayune, MS, three brothers; J.W. Polk (Dusie), James Polk of Shubuta, MS, Junior Polk (Babara) of New Orleans, LA, four sisters; Ida Polk, Irene Polk, Pauline Badie of New Orleans, and Ollie Carter of Waynesboro, MS, two daughters whom he raised as his own; Jennifer Jones and Mary McCann, 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
