Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in New Palestine Cemetery for Ray “Peter” Antoine Hurd, 60, of San Francisco, CA who died December 20, 2024 in San Francisco, CA.

The Elder Steven Hurd will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, MS.

A native of Picayune, MS. He was a devoted deacon, choir member and operator of the church PA System of True Hope Evangelic Ministries under the leadership of Dr. Arelious Walker. Ray was a butcher where his hardworking nature and warm personality earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his son, Jason Hurd; his brothers, Elder Jackie Hurd (Ruby) and Elder Steven Hurd (Teresa); sisters, Vanessa Hall (Donald), Angela Peters, Dimitri Hurd, and Denise McCaskill; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
